>I wanted understanding that could only come from God.
> every verse in the bible began to sing out in chorus, "Jesus is >God!"
And that is how I
>received the revelation. I felt like I had just received the spirit
>again. I rejoiced and I cried.

Amen to the post that Bro Marlon sent regarding how the Lord revealed
Himself to him.

We can only pray that God will reveal Himself to us. I was not always a
part of this beautiful truth. When it hit me, it was like a "brick in the
face", there was no argument with it. I was either going to obey the plan
of salvation or turn from it.

The Oneness of God being made plain to us has to only come from God. I
always accepted there was only One God. BUT, when HE revealed to me there
was ONLY ONE, and He was manifest in Christ Jesus, no words can do justice
to explain the feeling inside. To KNOW HIM, not just ABOUT HIM!!

WE had a woman attend our services for amonth straight. She brought her 2
adorable young sons every service. She was more faithful that some of our
"regulars". One Wednesday night as we were putting up new curtains, the
subject of my salvation experience came up. After sharing with her what
happened, she realized she hadn't received the Holy Ghost the same way I did.

My husband spent about 30 minutes with her explaining the plan of salvation
and gave her a tract to study until the next time we would meet.

The next Sunday every thing was as normal. BUT by Wednesday night we
received a letter from her in which she explained she would not be coming
back to our church. She stated "a mature christian friend explained to her
what SHE believed and what WE believed" (caps are my emphasis)

I don't know about you, but I have never in 40 years had anyone explain to
me what I believe! How could they????

My point is that the Lord has to reveal this great truth to us. It is our
job to "hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled."
Matt 5:6

Lord, I want to be filled with Your righteousness!
