Revelation is a MUST?

I don't really think that would be a very Biblical position.  Simon Peter
had the revelation of Jesus Christ being the Son of God before he had the
Holy Ghost.

Perhaps, I should state my position a little differently.  I believe that
the Bible is complete revelation.  Any revelation will complement and never
contradict the Scripture.  Supplemental (not additional) revelation will be
given by the Holy Ghost.
