One Lord
The prophet Zechariah, the Truth to us told,
When he prophesied of Jesus, in the days of old.
He knew that the Lord, of the Old Testament,
Would be the same Lord, of the New Testament.
He knew there was only, One Lord of Hosts,
And He'd be the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
Read Isaiah forty, starting at verse three,
Elohim was coming, to redeem you and me.
Know who the Son is? I sure hope you do,
For His name has been given, in St. Matthew.
Now also in St. John, as we can see,
God was made flesh, so the Son He must be.
Jesus is the Father, for as Paul said,
In Him dwells the fullness, of the Godhead.
He died on the cross, for you and me,
That from our sins, we might be free.
The Holy Ghost and Jesus, are One in the same,
And so it is written, "He'll be sent in MY name."
Speaking as the Comforter, Jesus said HE would come,
He was able to say this, because they are One.
Emmanuel, Emmanuel, You're really "God with us"
So why has this doctrine, stirred up such a fuss?
Zechariah fourteen nine, states is very plain,
There's only ONE Lord, and only ONE name!
In Acts four and twelve, the Word does convey,
The importance of the name; there's just no other way.
We don't know the day, and we weren't told the hour,
But we do know the name, is a very Strong Tower.
Prepare ye! Prepare ye! God's coming for His bride.
Make sure you're ready, there'll be no place to hide.
And except you've been born of the water and Spirit,
You'll never see heaven, nor even come near it.
