I agree with Bro. Shaw on this one. The bible says in Genesis 1 that he
created man in His own image. I believe that we were created physically like
the model of himself. The image that he had of himself being Jesus Christ.
So we physically have His image. We have 5 fingers and two legs and a face
with a nose and mouth etc.
The key is that after that, we are created in his likeness. The bible
says that we are not yet like Him. The likeness has to do with the nature of
God. And the bible says that one day we *shall* (future tense) be like him.
When we are fully like him, there will be no more sin and all of our thoughts
will be pure. We will be wholly holy, for holiness is the nature of God.
And Holy we must be if we are to be LIKE him.
