Historically the Branhamites were followers of William Branham who
believed himself to be the angel of the church of Laodicea. (I have some
pamphlets given to me by a Branhamite that are called "In the voice of
the days of the 7th angel".) They believe that each church in the book of
Rev. represents a different age in time and that the Laodicean church was
the last church before Jesus comes. They focus much on W. Branham and
usually have a picture of him with a supposed halo around his head
"proving" his special chosen status of 7th angel. Many of his followers
expected him to rise from the dead after he died. He is said to have
espoused oneness and also the "serpent seed doctrine". ( In which it is
suggested that Eve's relationship with the serpent was sexual and Cain
was born as a result. So,men are plagued through women in their
temptation of men.) He apparently also believed that the Zodiac and
Egyptian pyramids were equal to the scriptures.( More from The Latter
Rain Movement by J.R.Ensey)

He says things like "You speak with tongues and then refuse to be
baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ? Something wrong somewhere. Yes
indeed; any of those things, any of those orders God give. There is
something wrong. Just search your own conscience, and see what- see what
the Bible said. Show me some place where somebody was baptized in the
name of the "Father,Son, Holy Ghost." See? It's not there." (The Spoken
Word by William Marrion Branham Vol.5 No.9R page30)So it's easy to see
how confusing it can all get.

I don't know about this "man" they think you should meet, but I suspect
that he would be, in their definition, a latter day prophet or apostle of
some type.
