[Sis. Yohnk]:
They believe that each church in the book of
>Rev. represents a different age in time and that the Laodicean church was
>the last church before Jesus comes.

[Matthew]:
Sister, they're not the only ones who espouse that sort of
dispensationalism. In fact, I believe the old 'Search for Truth' charts
employ that sort of spiritual history in them.

I'm not that big on dispensationalism myself, but it is a popular,
interpretive opinion amongst many Pentecostals.

[Sis. Yohnk]:
They focus much on W. Branham and
>usually have a picture of him with a supposed halo around his head
>"proving" his special chosen status of 7th angel.

[Matthew]:
That picture is available on the web (with much more info on Branham) at
http://www.biblebelievers.org/introeng.htm .

I heard Bro. N.A. Urshan speak about Bro. Branham one time. He said that
Bro. Branham was a mighty prophet, at one time. He said that he was known
worldwide for his accuracy.

Bro. Branham, despite his militaristic Oneness, was popular amongst
trinitarian Pentecostals. In time, the Oneness message lost prominence in
his preaching, and his advisors actually counseled him not to stress his
doctrinal views in the meetings.

Supposedly, in one meeting Sister Schraeder stood and gave some sort of
prophecy saying that if Bro. Branham would not teach the Oneness truth, God
would remove him. Bro. Urshan said that Bro. Branham prostrated himself for
sometime behind the pulpit.

He died a short time later in a car crash.

Just some novelties for thought.

He is a part, maybe an unfortunate part, of our Oneness history.

Blessings.
