I don't think all dispensationalists hold to the book of

I got to thinking about what I wrote here and I think I should rephrase
this. Dispensationalism is different than believing that the angels to
the churches in the book of Rev. are all different representatives of
certain church ages. If believing, as the Branhamites do, (about the
angels) has ever been termed "dispensationalism", I don't know of it.
Dispensationalism is taught in Search for Truth. It is the idea that God
has dealt with man in different ways through time. For example, Adam and
Eve are said to have been under the dispensation of "innocence". We are
under the dispensation of "grace". There were other dispensations like
"conscience" etc. It seems to me to be just an easy way for men to
describe or break up the different ways God dealt with man.
I don't know whether the Branhamites hold to dispensationalism or not but
they do believe that the church age is broken into 7 time periods which
are based on the churches in Rev. They are as follows:
Ephesian-Paul
Smyrnean-Ireneaus
Pergamean-Martin
Thyatirean-Columba
Sardisean-Luther
Philadelphian-Wesley
Laodicean-Branham
There are some Pentecostals who believe that the churches in Rev.
represent different ages (but do not believe Branham was the "angel").
My personal belief on the matter is that all ages have all 7 types of
churches. Since Jesus is coming back for a bride without spot or
wrinkle, I have a hard time seeing the church of Laodicea being this
bride.
Search for Truth also talks about Luther and Wesley "bringing more truth"
to the world and then the Pentecostals recieving the "full revelation".
As I said before, I think this can be problematic depending on how it is
taught.
