Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ..... not so sure about that....
Joh 14: 8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father,
and it sufficeth us.
9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with
you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that
hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest
thou [then], Shew us the Father?
10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the
Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak
not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me,
he doeth the works.
11 Believe me that I [am] in the Father, and the Father
in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
I like the idea that the flesh of Jesus was simply the "robe" that
God personally wore (to make him the Son/to carry out the role of
"Sonship") as protection for us. If there was no flesh that robed
Jesus, we'd (humanity) might very well have been consumed by the
unbridled power and presence of God as the presence of God goes
from place to place. Because nobody has seen God "face-to-face",
the flesh of Jesus was necessary for our sakes.
Heb 10:30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance [belongeth]
unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again,
The Lord shall judge his people.
31 [It is] a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the
living God.
