Choice permitted or not to women?

Ok, lets make it more personal. Let us suppose, just for discussion sake, that you have been approached by a female member of your church, who disclosed some information. In discussion with your Pastor/husband, you choose not to disclose the information to him. He reminds you that he has a right to know and that you need tell him--- what do you do then?
Do you tell him as Pastor or do you not tell him as the husband?
Does he trust your judgement or remind you of his postition.
