dies either a Holy spirit or a sinful spirit.
Do you have two natures or one?
You are created in the image of God. So are you saying god has two natures?
>>
I feel that I do have my own human spirit. And we are all born with at
least one other spirit than that of God or Satan. It is called the spirit of
life. And believe me, Satan would rather see you die than live. So it is
not safe to say that the spirit of Satan is the only other spirit that I have.
God says that when we die our body returns to the dust from which it came.
The soul rests in the grave. And our human spirit of life goes back to God
that gave it.
You ask if I have two natures. I must respond that I do. I definitely
have my own spirit and I also definitely have Gods spirit. My own spirit or
nature is after the flesh. Someone said that the flesh will never die. I
personally believe that it has to be crucified each day. You see, the flesh
has a will and desire of its own. It carries its own nature and its own
spirit. This is what we all have to battle with every day. We have to put it
under. We have to pray about it. We have to deny it. And plead the blood
over it. Eventually we through the spirit gain dominion over our flesh. But
if we ever let up, we can be certain that it will rise up again.
This lets me know that I definitely have two natures. Because the Holy
Ghost in me wants to live right. But the flesh wants to do wrong. My born
again righteous inner man wants to live holy. But my flesh craves to live in
sin. It is the will of the flesh and my own spirit that I am trying to kill,
everyday.
Sounds like two natures to me.
If these things were not so, we would all live perfectly sinless all of
the time, since the first minute that we received the Holy Ghost. But we do
have two natures. So we have sometimes stumbled and fallen. We continue to
grow in the knowledge and grace of God everyday. And we continue to grow into
the likeness of God.
Now as for the final question, I do believe that Jesus also had two
natures. One being human. The other being divine. Both natures were
sinless. God came in the *likeness* of sinful flesh. Not SINFUL flesh.
Therefore, his human nature was also free from sin. And of course He was God
in His divine nature.
While God did not originally have a human nature prior to his conception
through Mary. He did have a human nature after he came to earth in the body
of Jesus Christ. This human nature is what allowed him to experience
temptation. This is what allowed him to be touched with the feelings of our
infirmities. This human nature is what allowed him to be tired like a man.
And what allowed him to have human emotions. And his human spirit is what
kept the fleshly body alive.
His divine spirit is what worked the miracles. It is what spoke the
words of authority and prophecy. The Divine nature was what directed the
Apostles and fed the multitudes with truth. And He is what directed the human
nature, and gave the human spirit the direction which it should take.
Sounds like two natures to me.
Two natures but one body. And one God to work through that body. Thus
Jesus is God
Conclusions
-Humans have a human spirit (spirit of life) and a human nature
-Humans that are saved also have the Spirit of God on the inside
-Thus Humans have two natures
-Jesus had a human nature (sinless of course)
-Jesus was the Divine Spirit
-Thus Jesus had two natures

God Bless you In Jesus name
