 Mike:
Sometimes it is easier to tell what the Bible doesn't mean than to tell just
what it means. This is an example of that. We know there is only one Spirit,
(Eph.4:4) So we know that Jesus wasn't saying,"After awhile there will be a
couple of Holy Spirits that are going to abide in you." As you stated, it
can't mean that the flesh is going to abide in you. So I will take a stab at
what I think it could mean. It could mean that the Spirit of God and his
redeeming power will dwell in you. (I may be wrong, but I don't think that
violates the scriptures like the assumption there was one body and two
spirits)

If there is only One Spirit, and we are Born with a Spirit, and all Spirit's
are from God b/c there is only one. We have to have a Spirit or we can't
live. It is our Life, So when we recieve the Holy Ghost does that mean we
have 2 Spirits or is it rebearthing a spirit that was already placed in us.
