Bro Allen:

>At least I got to re-
>itterate some of the points...right? <g> I see you are obviously
>frustrated with me (I know how ya feel) when you say "and used my
>post to make them." You say I have made some obvious mistakes in my
>post. Please point these out. Thanks! God bless!

Me:

I am in no way displeased or frustrated with you. I thought that by adding
the (smiley) :-) in my post to you that I would convey that. The mistakes
that I was talking about were the misrepresentations you made about what I
had said.

Bro Allen:

>1) Christ was tempted in all, whether he sinned or not doesn't matter.
 > We have the same power, just as Jesus, not to sin. Our sin nature
>DOES keep us from being perfect many times, but Christ's humanity did
>the same thing. Someone also made the comment that God never had the
>*REAL* experience of being born of a woman...another mistake (see
>Luke 1:35)

>2) Jesus did bear the burden of sin...far above anything you think
>YOU'VE gone through. Jesus did, by his own standards, committ the
>ultimate sin. Upon the cross of calvary, He committed every sin that
>would ever be committed. He bore the pain, guilt, and embarrassment
>of such a sin...so much that even the Spirit within Him (the Father)
>left. You will never feel this pain.

Me:

The only thing that I would ask of you is to clarify for me your statements
about, Man and Christ and Man's power being the same not to sin (second
sentence of #1). And your point in #2 while good, and valid in as much as
it states, is flawed only by the fact that you attributed something to
someone that was never there. I stated that God up until his incarnation as
Jesus Christ lacked a *REAL* experience that would allow him to fulfill the
first part of Heb. 4:15.

Yours in Christ,

Jeff Wescott
