Now hold it brother Steve! If they "Changed the truth of God for a lie",
you cannot call them just an example of " Apostolic diversity". In the
first place it is a very drastic example of unholyness (and as I recall
holyness is basic to Apostolic faith.)
Second, if "Homosexual men will not inheret the Kingdom of God." You
cannot view them as saved Christians with another point of view. In
general when we speak of Apostolic diversity we are talking about
diversity of "non-salvation issues." This cannot be viewed in that way.
Third, if you want other Christians to take us seriously (which if I
understand you correctly you do), you cannot claim that you don't
understand about gays, and about drugs and about abortion. If we don't
understand any of this they will not believe we are Christians at all.
It strike me that when borther Bill cautions you about certain groups, you
seem very earger to disagree with him. This leads me to wonder just what
kind of "diversity" you are trying tolerate. For example why not start by
tolerating brother Bill long enough to listen
to him? He seems to be in the main stream of Apostolic thought.
All with love in Jesus Name,
Yeaton
