I think it is so sad when pastors and others in leadership discourage saints
from attending college or going back to school. If it werent for a saint going
back to school (after having two kids and then ending up alone) I wouldnt have
had the opprotunity rto hear the gospel. I was witnessed to at the bus stop.
Our area has a commuter bus running between a couple smaller cities to the
local Junior college.  She worked on me for over a year before I actually went
to church. That was 9 years ago.
      When people complain abvout the liberality on so many campuses today. I
think the main reason is because there is an inbalance of conservative vs
liberal. If no conservative people attend, what does that mean...only the more
liberal ones are left.
      If saints forgo education, we paly into a common stereotype of
pentecostals, that we are all poor and  ignorant. This is the bias my family
believes, that pentecostalism is a bunch of emotionalistic nonsense for
uneducated people...(In other words, its not for educated people "like us")
