I particularly like the idea of a 2nd list....and I even like the
name of the list .... "crossfire" ... but for us to get prairienet
to serve that list, I'd (since I'm the only one here on higher-fire
with prairienet access/login and only because I'm an owner) we'd
have to initialize another Information Provider (IP) with prairienet.org
which is something right now I'm not particularly willing to do (especially
since I live out-of-state from prairienet.org and they require it as
a requirement to start a list with an IP).

There exists the possibility of using one of the free lists providers
that's out there. Liiiiiiiiiiiiiike, onelist.com. Bro Timothy Litteral
established a list out there by the name of answers@onelist.com. I post
nyuk-nyuk's there when I post to H-F, otherwise I receive a daily digest
of what's going on. Their digests are free of advertising, and you sign
up via a web form initially, which is reviewed by the owner/moderator
much like here on H-F. So I don't think they muck around with the e-mail
any by attaching any ads to it or anything.

If wanted, I can get another list going.
