In debating you should write down EXACTLY what you believe. Know what issue you are trying to prove and have "points" or propositions to prove. This lets each opponent study and prove or try to prove by the Word where the other is in error. Lay down all your cards at the beginning so you can see each others hand and that way you can research and only have to mail back once on what the opponent believes.
