BROTHER STEVE:
How can you say all of this without even reading the documents I am
referencing Sister Lynne? You are reacting on the basis of
stereotypes
and using one cliché after another without seeking to determine if
the
documents I am referencing are Biblical or not! This is like hearing
a
rabid AOGer who has never read or studied Apostolic theology trash
the
Apostolic faith as heretical, apostate, and cultic. Apostolics
desire
better. Catholics do to.
ME:
Brother Steve, I do not like to get back into the old rut of holding
a grudge against you...but you must admit that the Apostles did not
try to find similarities with them and the pagan religions--THAT
resulted in the Roman Catholic Church...so, as long as you hold that
Jesus is a liar (that there actually IS more than one way to be
saved) and that He would contradict himself (by inspiring various
different modes of salvation to be written by men who were inspired
by Him), I can not begin to believe that you hold to the Apostles'
doctrine. You want to fight us, your brothers, and you want to unite
with the Roman Catholics. The saints before us who were killed by
the Catholic church as well as the protestant church would turn over
in their graves. You request that I respect the Catholic people--and
I do. BUT, you ask that I respect their doctrines? No, I refuse to.
I have not read the Vatican II documents (as always, the positions
has, I'm sure changed since the last doctrine) and would be obliged
if you would send me info (my email is in my sig) on how I can obtain
them. However, I have read many Catholic documents and have them in
my possesion at this time. The current catechism books, which
dictate what the next generation of Catholics will believe, are anti-
biblical and teach a false God, a false salvation, and a false church.
BROTHER STEVE:
Wouldn't it be a shame if you hindered someone from receiving
the Apostolic gospel because they disagree with your interpretation
of
prophecy?
ME:
Or if she did it by teaching that anyone can have an experience of
Jesus--whether it be the RIGHT Jesus or not--and go to heaven. Let's
sugar coat the consequence of not be saved while we're at it? :(
BROTHER STEVE:
This is like hearing a
rabid AOGer who has never read or studied Apostolic theology trash
the
Apostolic faith as heretical, apostate, and cultic.
ME:
Hate to break it to ya <g> but, if you want to become an AOGer, we
ARE heretics, apostates, and a cult. :)
BROTHER STEVE:
Also, how can you be familiar with the
Catholic faith if you haven't read the documents of Vatican II which
define Catholicism for our generation?
ME:
If you aren't familiar with the Vatican (and this is the institution,
not the people...I wish I was as good and faithful as the people),
what is written and what is believed is often contradictary. This
isn't always the Vatican's fault, but the believers'. By the way, if
documents from a head organization define the beliefs of its
followers, then a red light should go off.
Please contact me about obtaining the documents (No libraries around
here have them...or stores...) Can they be obtained through the local
Catholic church? Thank you. Lord bless!
