I am a Licensed (UPCI - local) lady minister looking for preaching engagements. I have been in church for 33 years and am 50 years old. God called me to preach about 30 years ago. However, I fought the call and then was fought, but received my license about 3 years ago. God has given me an unusual opportunity to witness at my job. I am a Contract Manager and have worked for the company for aprox. 20 years.I am able to tell a little bit of my personal story to about 600 employees when I teach the many company classes I instruct each month. I am trying to get speaking engagements at school districts, church groups, ladies conventions, etc.to tell my personal story (a plug for God) about "the power of the spoken word" ( words we speak - I am only allowed to imply the spiritual meaning in these classes). I have an emotionally charged story about how words spoken by a teacher almost ruined my life, until God brought certain people into my life and changed it all (I use it as an object lesson to the employees regarding how their words can and will affect lives). And, of course, I must give God the credit! I earned an AA degree (Communication) and a BA (Liberal Arts - English). I have taught ESL part-time to College students at out local Jr. College. I am a Staff Minister, teach Abundant Life classes (a 12 week course for new adults), home Bible studies, as well as numerous other ministries at my local church. My sister and I have a weekly Support Group through our local church (A.C.T.S.) My number one goal though, is to preach Revival meetings and my Pastor has written a letter to Pastors who may be interested in having me. He has given me a blank letter to give to anyone requesting a copy.
