Promises .......from God to YOU !
There are way too many promises to include them all on this web page,
but here are a few to get you started.
Remember, God always keeps His promises, when He says "IF" you will do "this"
"THEN" He will do "that" you can rest assured God will indeed fulfill His
promise IF we are faithful to do what He asks of us, and anything He asks
of us is for our own good anyhow, so why not take God up on His promises,
after all, they are for YOU !
Note: the most important promise of all is at the bottom !
"Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God" II Cor. 7:1
"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land" II Chron. 7:14
"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not" Gal. 6:9
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" I John 1:9
"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you" Matt. 6:33
"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it" I Cor. 10:13
"Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen" Jude 1:24,25
"Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you" I Peter 5:7
"...as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty" II Cor. 6:16-18
"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth" Acts 1:8
Ok, here is the most important promise of all, the promise that you can be filled with
the Spirit of God,
this promise is for everyone and it is for YOU TOO !
"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call" Acts 2:38,39
