BDM

Hello,

I would like to use gdb 4.16 with a Background Mode Debug
target, however, the EST GDB target that 4.16 supports asks
for a serial port to which the target is connected.  I 
thought that BDM requires a parallel port adapter, which I 
already have; is there a special serial adapter that GDB 4.16
needs in order to support BDM?  Any information would be
greatly appreciated.
