primitive www homepage of Mark W. Bassett

Welcome!

First, the big deal is not about me.
But since this is my home page, and here's the facts.

I am 46 years old. I'm married and have 3 children. We have a dog, and now, after a visit to Amish country last fall, two cats. In spite of the second cat, I have to say that God has been good

I guess it has been profitable. It seems like things never work right. Actually, I feel sorry for you if you are learning it for the first time here, but ... that's right. Nothing in this world works very well, or for long. Have you noticed ?

In fact, my life wasn't working real well after about 30 solar revolutions. Then I found a new way, but that's a story we'll get to.
I have worked in progressive design, manufacturing and contracting in NYC. Recently we have a new venture which is going very well. It's a blessing to work with good people. So, now I spend most of my time writing code to accomplish supervisory control and operator access for these systems. I believe the stuff is very competative and functional.
If so, let the praise be unto God!

Actually, this page is something of a place holder for stepping on to see some information on...
Your chance to experience what I have! Yes, it is an opportunity, not an inevitable thing.

"place holder" definition: substitute, serving until the primary object is revealed

You see, having received wonderfully from a loving God, He has called me as a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. A while back (about 1990), my family began to make preparations. In January of 1995, we came from a learning and growing experience to lay the foundations of an Apostolic church here in Milford, CT.

Click here to see a brief summary of what happened to this confused kid and brought light and life to him, before he lost out in a big way, and a picture no less!

The name of the church is

Apostolic Life Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church.
Have fun exploring!

If you are back from the Life Tabernacle link, and you are saying tell me more about this great thing called salvation, I'd be glad to. Send email, and we'll do lunch.
