Grey Eagle
Jewhurst; as per Kelson
Hook: Partridge Bartleet Supreme CS10/2 #1/0.
Tag: Fine oval silver tinsel.
Tail: Red breast feather from the golden pheasant.
Rib: 5 turns of medium flat silver tinsel, trailed by fine oval silver tinsel.
Body: 3 equal sections of yellow, kingfisher blue, and cerise seal.
Hackle: natural grey maribou from the wild turkey.
Collar: teal.
Wing: 2 strips of brown mottled turkey, with black bars and white points.
Head: black.
Note: A classic Dee River fly, surely over 100 years old.
