Hook: Partridge Bartleet Supreme CS10/1 #2/0.
Tip: 2 turns fine copper oval tinsel, at the point.
Tag: fluorescent lime green rayon floss, as wide as from the barb to the point.
Joint: 2 turns fine copper oval tinsel.
Rib: 4 turns of medium flat copper tinsel, with fine copper oval tinsel as a counter-rib.
Body: rear 3/5 black uni-floss, front 2/5 black angora dubbing, using Syd Glasso's split floss technique.
Hackle: red dyed blue eared pheasant, trailing the flat copper tinsel.
Collar: wigeon.
Wing: red dyed bronze mallard, set low, horizontal style.
Head: black.
Note: Named after the great jazz tenor saxophonist, because of the song titled "Red, Black, and Green".
