Strange Attractor
R. J. Brown
Hook: Partridge Bartleet CS10/2 #1/0.
Tag: medium oval silver tinsel, 3 turns, halfway between the barb and the point.
Rib: medium oval silver tinsel, wound the usual way.
Body: rear 1/3 white silk floss, front 2/3 white pseudo seal, using Syd Glasso's split floss method.
Hackle: hot orange dyed coque, from the front, tied in by root, wound contrary to the usual way, and secured by the rib.
Collar: guinea.
Wing: red fox.
Head: black.
Note: The name is from a term in the physics of chaotic dynamics. It is sort of a polar shrimp, but rather strange looking.
