Be sure to have @wrap off, and you can do /log <filename>  then dump the 
file, and do /log off then go edit the file.. to save a few steps, have 
@create give it an ID, what I usually do is check the aliases of the 
object to dump and @dump #obj with id=alias create

sorry if this is redundant, I've been MOOing for almost 8 months, and 
only learned this a couple weeks ago :)
