i must admit, i log the process size of all three of the moo's i run
sites for at least once a day.. maybe i'm paranoid ;)

i'd just like to comment on that - i've been running my moo on 1.8.0p4
with fup 1.8 patch on a sunos 4 machine with an uptime of just over 7
weeks at the time of writing.. in all that time the process size has
grown about 2 meg.. as the db's grown too i hardly think that's a major
cause for concern ;)

both my other moo's are on 1.8.0p5 (one on a linux box, the other on a
solaris machine) and not one of them has ever had any sudden memory
growth or panic problems in.. well, ever ;)

the only problem i've ever had is due to someone accidentally setting one
of the machines up with a 4.8 meg swap instead of 48 meg.. oh well ;)
