Ec 11:1	Directions for charity.
Ec 11:1 •LIBERALITY-PARSIMONY-COVETOUSNESS •PROMISES, DIVINE	¶ Cast¹ thy bread² upon the waters³: for⁴ thou shalt find it after many days.
Ec 11:2 •MYSTERIES-REVELATIONS •SEVEN	Give a portion⁵ to seven⁶, and also to eight; for⁷ thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth.
Ec 11:3 •METEOROLOGY •METEOROLOGY	If the clouds⁸ be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree⁹ fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be.
Ec 11:4 •AGRICULTURE-HORTICULTURE •METEOROLOGY	¹⁰He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap.
Ec 11:5 •KNOWLEDGE-IGNORANCE •NATURE'S MYSTERIES	As thou knowest not what¹¹ is the way of the spirit, nor¹² how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even¹³ so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.
Ec 11:6	In the morning sow¹⁴ thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest¹⁵ not whether shall prosper¹⁶, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.
Ec 11:7	Death in life,
Ec 11:7	¶ Truly the light¹⁷ is sweet, and a pleasant¹⁸ thing it is for the eyes to behold the sun:
Ec 11:8 •DARK DAYS •LIFE-DEATH	But if a man¹⁹ live many years, and rejoice²⁰ in them all; yet²¹ let him remember the days of darkness; for they shall be many. All that²² cometh is vanity.
Ec 11:9	and the day ofjudgment in the days of youth, are to be thought on.
Ec 11:9 •YOUNG PEOPLE •YOUNG PEOPLE	Rejoice²³, O young man, in thy youth²⁴; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk²⁵ in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight²⁶ of thine eyes: but know²⁷ thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment.
Ec 11:10 •EMPTINESS-FULNESS	¶ Therefore remove²⁸ sorrow²⁹ from thy heart, and put³⁰ away evil from thy flesh: for³¹ childhood and youth are vanity.
