Job 26:1
Job, reproving the uncharitable spirit of Bildad,
Job 26:1

But Job answered and said,

Job 26:2

How hast thou helped2 him that is without power? how savest thou the arm that hath no strength?

Job 26:3

How hast thou counselled3 him that hath no wisdom? and how hast thou plentifully4 declared the thing as it is?

Job 26:4

To whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit5 came from thee?

Job 26:5
acknowledges the power of God to be infinite and unsearchable.
Job 26:5

Dead things6 are formed from under the waters, and7 the inhabitants thereof.

HELL
WISDOM-FOLLY

Hell8 is naked before him, and destruction9 hath no covering.

Job 26:7
CREATOR
EARTH
NORTH

10He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.

METEOROLOGY

He bindeth up11 the waters in his thick clouds12; and the cloud13 is not rent under them.

Job 26:9

14He holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it.

WEAKNESS-POWER

He hath compassed15 the waters with bounds, until16 the day and night come to an end17.

Job 26:11

The pillars18 of heaven tremble and are astonished19 at his reproof.

He divideth20 the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth21 through the proud22.

By his spirit23 he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent24.

Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little25 a portion is heard of him? but the thunder26 of his power who can understand?
