Job 37:1
God is to be feared because of his great works.
Job 37:1

1At this also my heart trembleth, and is moved out of his place.

Job 37:2

Hear attentively2 the noise of his voice, and the sound that goeth out of his mouth.

He3 directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning4 unto the ends of the earth.

Job 37:4

After it a voice5 roareth: he thundereth with the voice6 of his excellency; and he will7 not stay them when his voice is heard.

God thundereth8 marvellously with his voice; great9 things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.

For he10 saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small11 rain, and to the great12 rain of his strength.

He13 sealeth up the hand of every man; that14 all men may know his work.

15Then the beasts go into dens, and remain in their places.

Also by watering he wearieth20 the thick cloud: he scattereth21 his bright cloud22:

And it23 is turned round about by his counsels: that24 they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth.

He causeth it to come, whether25 for correction26, or for his land, or for mercy27.

Hearken unto this, O Job: stand28 still, and consider29 the wondrous works of God.

His wisdom is unsearchable in them.

Dost30 thou know when God disposed them, and caused the light31 of his cloud to shine?

Dost thou know the balancings32 of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect33 in knowledge?

How thy garments are warm, when he34 quieteth the earth by the south wind?

Hast thou with him spread35 out the sky, which is strong, and as36 a molten looking glass?

Job 37:19

Teach37 us what we38 shall say unto him; for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness.

Job 37:20

Shall it39 be told him that I speak? if a man speak, surely40 he shall be swallowed up.

Job 37:21

41And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds: but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.

Fair42 weather cometh out of the north: with43 God is terrible majesty.

Job 37:23
EXCELLENCIES, DIVINE
MYSTERIES-REVELATIONS

Touching the Almighty, we44 cannot find him out: he is excellent45 in power, and in judgment46, and in plenty of justice: he will47 not afflict.

Job 37:24

Men do therefore fear48 him: he49 respecteth not any that are wise of heart.
