Hook: Tiemco TMC 7931C #3/0.
Tag: fine silver oval from barb to point.
Tail: hot orange dyed golden pheasant crest, divided vertically by a hot orange dyed golden pheasant tippet.
Rib: large oval silver tied in at the rear, wound the usual way, so as to cross the hackles and serve as a counter-rib.
Body: rear 1/2 hot orange angora dubbing; front 1/2 orange silk floss.
Hackle: rear 1/2 palmered with hot orange saltwater neck, tied in at the front by the tip, wound contrary to the usual way, held down by the rib; front 1/2 hot orange dyed blue eared pheasant, tied in at the front by the tip, wound contrary to the usual way, held down by the rib.
Collar: guinea.
Cheeks: jungle cock, drooping.
Wing: dark cinnamon turkey tail, mounted flat, V-style.
Head: black.
Note: A modern color variant of the classic Akroyd Dee River fly.
