Pryce-Tannatt
Hook: Alec Jackson's Pryce-Tannatt Rational #4/0 blind eye.
Tag: medium silver oval tinsel from barb to point.
Tail: golden pheasant crest, veiled by golden pheasant tippet.
Rib: medium silver oval tinsel tied in at the rear, wound the usual way, so as to cross the hackles and serve as a counter-rib.
Body: rear 1/2 yellow-orange SLF; front 1/2 black silk floss.
Hackle: rear 1/2 palmered with yellow saddle, tied in at the front by the tip, wound contrary to the usual way, held down by the rib; front 1/2 black dyed blue eared pheasant, tied in at the front by the tip, wound contrary to the usual way, held down by the rib.
Collar: teal.
Cheeks: jungle cock, drooping.
Wing: bleached dark cinnamon turkey tail, mounted flat, V-style.
Head: black.
Note: A classic Dee River fly.
