half as long as from the barb to the point.
| | Rib: | fine oval copper tinsel, as a counter-rib.
| | Body: | black Berlin wool.
| | Hackle: | red dyed blue eared pheasant, 5 turns, from the front,
tied in by the tip, and secured by the rib.
| | Collar: | wood duck gold dyed mallard flank.
| | Wing: | goose shoulder, married, top half red, bottom half black,
to the barb, tented and somewhat low, vertical style.
| | Head: | claret.
| | Note: | Named after the brilliant redheaded jazz singer.
