| | Tip: | fine silver oval tinsel, 5 turns, at the point.
| | Tag: | blue silk floss, as wide as from the barb to the point.
| | Rib: | wide gold oval tinsel, 4 turns,
with narrow silver oval as a counter-rib.
| | Body: | back 1/2 claret silk floss,
front 1/2 UV white ice dub,
using Syd Glasso's split floss technique.
| | Hackle: | natural blue eared pheasant, from the front,
tied in by the tip, and secured by the counter-rib.
| | Collar: | claret dyed guinea.
| | Wing: | fluorescent cerise dyed bronze mallard,
tented and low, horizontal style.
| | Head: | claret.
| | Note: | Named for what it can do to the fish.
