Consider client-centered therapy
Because a pc based moo with a thousand objects and 8-16 connections is
technically feasible, please consider creating clients with a full poo
(personal) which when offline is its own single user world and during logon
on a remote moo sets whatever messages, properties, verbs, or bits which
the remote moo allows this particular client's owner. Any poo can become a
moo by accepting connections.
Registered players could offline alter their own properties and have them
updated at the next login. Optionally a player could move other unlocked
objects from the moo into its poo and manipulate them offline. From the
mooside these would return the last_connect_address and could be portrayed
sleeping or just not visible.
Builders could offline alter the properties of owned objects and create
children and move owned (created) objects both ways across the poomoo
interface. Builders might build their rooms and objects offline and when
connected, invite the rest of the moo into these rooms.
Programmers could write verbs offline and have them updated at the next
login. Optionally a programmer could also move unowned (ported) objects
from its poo into the moo.
Wizards could set player, prog and wizbits offline and have them updated at
the next login. Optionally a wizard could also logon players from its poo
into the moo and effect intermoo mobility.
Everyone is a wizard in their own poo (^-^)
I hope this is helpful
