Ps 132:1	David in his prayer commends unto God the religious care he had for the ark.
Ps 132:1	¶ A Song of degrees. LORD, remember² David, and all his afflictions³:
Ps 132:2	How he sware⁴ unto the LORD, and vowed unto the mighty⁵ God of Jacob;
Ps 132:3	Surely I will not⁶ come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;
Ps 132:4	I will not give sleep⁷ to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,
Ps 132:5	Until I find⁸ out a place for the LORD, an habitation⁹ for the mighty¹⁰ God of Jacob.
Ps 132:6 Ephrathah Jaar	Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah¹¹: we found¹² it in the fields of the wood.
Ps 132:7	We will go¹³ into his tabernacles: we will worship¹⁴ at his footstool.
Ps 132:8	His prayer at the removing of the ark;
Ps 132:8	Arise¹⁵, O LORD, into thy rest; thou, and the ark¹⁶ of thy strength.
Ps 132:9	Let thy priests¹⁷ be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints¹⁸ shout¹⁹ for joy.
Ps 132:10	¶ For thy servant²⁰ David's sake turn not²¹ away the face of thine anointed.
Ps 132:11	with a repetition of God's promises.
Ps 132:11 •PROPHECY	¶ The LORD hath sworn²² in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit²³ of thy body²⁴ will I set upon thy throne.
Ps 132:12 •FAITHFULNESS-UNFAITHFULNESS	If thy children²⁵ will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children²⁶ shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.
Ps 132:13 Zion	For the LORD²⁷ hath chosen Zion; he hath desired²⁸ it for his habitation.
Ps 132:14	This is my rest²⁹ for ever: here will³⁰ I dwell; for I have³¹ desired it.
Ps 132:15 •ABUNDANCE-WANT	I will abundantly³² bless her provision: I will satisfy³³ her poor with bread.
Ps 132:16 •ADORNING, PHYSICAL-SPIRITUAL •JOY-SORROW •RIGHTEOUS-WICKED	I will also clothe³⁴ her priests with salvation: and her saints³⁵ shall shout aloud for joy.
Ps 132:17 •HORN	There will I make³⁶ the horn of David to bud: I have ordained³⁷ a lamp³⁸ for mine anointed.
Ps 132:18	His enemies³⁹ will I clothe with shame: but upon⁴⁰ himself shall his crown flourish.
