Ps 34:1
David praises God, and exhorts others thereto by his experience.
Ps 34:1

A Psalm of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed. I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

BOASTING IN GOD

My soul shall make3 her boast in the LORD: the humble4 shall hear thereof, and be glad.

HONOUR-DISHONOUR

O magnify5 the LORD with me, and let us6 exalt his name together.

DELIVERER, DIVINE

I sought7 the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from8 all my fears.

BLINDNESS-VISION
LIGHT-DARKNESS

They9 looked unto him, and were10 lightened11: and their faces were not ashamed.

Ps 34:6
EARNESTNESS-INDIFFERENCE

This12 poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved13 him out of all his troubles.

BATTLE OF LIFE

The angel14 of the LORD encampeth15 round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

They are blessed that trust in God.
Ps 34:8
GOODNESS OF GOD

O taste16 and see that the LORD17 is good: blessed18 is the man that trusteth in him.

Ps 34:9

O fear19 the LORD, ye his saints: for20 there is no want to them that fear him.

Ps 34:10

The young lions21 do lack, and suffer hunger: but22 they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.

Come23, ye children, hearken unto me: I will24 teach you the fear of the LORD.

What25 man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he26 may see good?

SILENCE-SPEECH

Keep27 thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking28 guile.

WORK AND WORKERS, RELIGIOUS

Depart29 from evil, and do30 good; seek31 peace, and pursue it.

RIGHTEOUS-WICKED

The32 eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and33 his ears are open unto their cry.

MEMORY-OBLIVION

The face34 of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut35 off the remembrance of them from the earth.

PRAYER

The righteous36 cry37, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

FELLOWSHIP-ESTRANGEMENT
PENITENCE-IMPENITENCE
PROMISES, DIVINE

The LORD is nigh38 unto them39 that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as40 be of a contrite spirit.

PROMISES, DIVINE

Many41 are the afflictions of the righteous: but42 the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

PROVIDENCE DIVINE

43He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

Ps 34:21
DESOLATION
SIN-SAVIOUR

Evil44 shall slay the wicked: and they45 that hate the righteous shall be desolate46.

Ps 34:22
FAITH-UNBELIEF

The LORD redeemeth47 the soul of his servants: and none48 of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
