| | Tail: | hot orange dyed golden pheasant crest,
veiled by Lady Amherst pheasant tippet.
| | Rib: | large gold oval tinsel tied in at the rear,
wound the usual way, so as to cross the hackles
and serve as a counter-rib.
| | Body: | rear 1/2 purple SLF, dubbed heavy and picked out;
front 1/2 purple uni-floss.
| | Hackle: | rear 1/2 none.
front 1/2 purple dyed blue eared pheasant,
tied in at the front by the tip,
wound contrary to the usual way,
held down by the rib.
| | Collar: | gadwall.
| | Cheeks: | jungle cock, drooping.
| | Wing: | black and white mottled turkey tail,
mounted flat, V-style.
| | Head: | claret.
| | Note: | Modern color variant of the classic Akroyd Dee River fly.
