Ps 11:1
David encourages himself in God against his enemies.
Ps 11:1

To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. In the1 LORD put I my trust: how2 say ye to my soul, Flee3 as a bird to your mountain?

Ps 11:2

For, lo,4 the wicked bend their bow, they make5 ready their arrow upon the string, that6 they may privily7 shoot at the upright in heart.

Ps 11:3

If the8 foundations be destroyed, what9 can the righteous do?

Ps 11:4
The providence and justice of God.
Ps 11:4
BLINDNESS-VISION

The LORD10 is in his holy temple, the LORD'S11 throne is in heaven: his eyes12 behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.

RIGHTEOUS-WICKED
SIN-SAVIOUR
TESTS, SPIRITUAL

The LORD trieth13 the righteous: but the wicked14 and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

Ps 11:6
BRIMSTONE
REWARD-PUNISHMENT
RIGHTEOUS-WICKED

Upon15 the wicked he shall rain snares16, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their17 cup.

Ps 11:7

For18 the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his19 countenance doth behold the upright.
