Ps 111:1
The psalmist by his example incites others to praise God for his glorious,
Ps 111:1

Praise ye the LORD1. I will2 praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly3 of the upright, and in the congregation.

Ps 111:2

The works4 of the LORD are great, sought5 out of all them that have6 pleasure therein.

Ps 111:3

His work is honourable7 and glorious: and his righteousness8 endureth for ever.

WORKS OF GOD, WONDERFUL

He hath9 made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious10 and full11 of compassion.

He hath given12 meat13 unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

He hath shewed14 his people the power of his works, that he15 may give them the heritage of the heathen.

The works16 of his hands are verity and judgment; all his17 commandments are sure.

They18 stand fast19 for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.

REVERENCE-IRREVERENCE

He sent20 redemption unto his people: he hath21 commanded his covenant for ever: holy22 and reverend is his name.

The fear of God breeds true wisdom.

WISDOM-FOLLY

The fear23 of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding24 have all they that do his commandments:25 his praise26 endureth for ever.
