Ps 112:1 Godliness has the promises of this life, Ps 112:1 •BEATITUDES ¶ Praise ye the LORD1. Blessed2 is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth3 greatly in his commandments. Ps 112:2 •HEREDITY 4His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. Ps 112:3 Wealth5 and riches shall be in his house: and his6 righteousness endureth for ever. Ps 112:4 and of the life to come. Ps 112:4 •LIGHT-DARKNESS •UPRIGHTNESS, REWARD OF Unto the upright there ariseth7 light in the darkness: he is gracious8, and full of compassion, and righteous9. Ps 112:5 •BUSINESS LIFE A good10 man sheweth11 favour, and lendeth: he will12 guide his affairs with discretion13. Ps 112:6 •MEMORY-OBLIVION •SECURITY-INSECURITY ¶ Surely14 he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous15 shall be in everlasting remembrance. Ps 112:7 •SECURITY-INSECURITY He shall not16 be afraid of evil tidings: his heart17 is fixed, trusting18 in the LORD. Ps 112:8 •COURAGE-FEAR •SAFETY •SECURITY-INSECURITY His heart19 is established, he shall20 not be afraid, until he21 see his desire upon his enemies. Ps 112:9 •LIBERALITY-PARSIMONY-COVETOUSNESS •PROMISES TO THE MERCIFUL AND BENEVOLENT He22 hath dispersed23, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness24 endureth for ever; his horn25 shall be exalted with honour. Ps 112:10 The prosperity of the godly shall be an eyesore to the wicked. Ps 112:10 •RIGHTEOUS-WICKED •TEETH GNASHING OF ¶ The wicked26 shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash27 with his teeth, and melt28 away: the desire29 of the wicked shall perish.
