Ps 130:1
The psalmist professes his hope in prayer;
Ps 130:1

A Song of degrees. Out of2 the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.

Ps 130:2

Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears3 be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

Ps 130:3
INIQUITIES, OUR
SELF-JUSTIFICATION-SELF-CONDEMNATION
SELF-JUSTIFICATION-SELF-CONDEMNATION
SIN-SAVIOUR

If thou, LORD, shouldest mark4 iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

Ps 130:4
FORGIVENESS

But there5 is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest6 be feared.

Ps 130:5
and his patience in hope.
Ps 130:5

I wait7 for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his8 word do I hope.

Ps 130:6
PATIENCE-IMPATIENCE

My soul waiteth9 for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning10.

Ps 130:7
He exhorts Israel to trust in God.
Ps 130:7
REDEMPTION

Let Israel11 hope in the LORD: for with12 the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.

Ps 130:8
REDEEMER, THE LORD OUR

And he shall redeem13 Israel from all his iniquities.
