Ps 138:1	David praises God for the truth of his word.
Ps 138:1	¶ *A Psalm of David.* I will praise² thee with my whole³ heart: before⁴ the gods⁵ will I sing praise unto thee.
Ps 138:2 •TEMPLES	I will worship toward⁶ thy holy temple, and praise⁷ thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast⁸ magnified thy word above all thy name.
Ps 138:3	In the day⁹ when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst¹⁰ me with strength in my soul.
Ps 138:4	He prophesies that the kings of the earth shall praise God.
Ps 138:4	All the kings¹¹ of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear¹² the words of thy mouth.
Ps 138:5	Yea, they shall¹³ sing in the ways of the LORD: for great¹⁴ is the glory of the LORD.

Ps 138:7 •COMFORT-MISERY •PROMISES, DIVINE	Though I walk¹⁸ in the midst of trouble, thou wilt¹⁹ revive me: thou shalt stretch²⁰ forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right²¹ hand shall save me.
Ps 138:8	The LORD will perfect²² that which concerneth me: thy mercy²³, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake²⁴ not the works of thine own hands.
