Ps 58:1	David reproves wicked judges;
Ps 58:1	¶ *To the chief Musician, Altaschith, Michtam of David.* Do² ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation³? do ye judge uprightly, O ye⁴ sons of men?
Ps 58:2	Yea, in heart⁵ ye work wickedness; ye weigh⁶ the violence of your hands in the earth.
Ps 58:3	describes the nature of the wicked;
Ps 58:3 •FELLOWSHIP-ESTRANGEMENT •HEREDITY	The wicked are estranged⁷ from the womb: they go astray as soon⁸ as they be born, speaking lies.
Ps 58:4 •ADDERS •POISON •SERPENTS	Their poison⁹ is like¹⁰ the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf¹¹ adder that stoppeth her ear;
Ps 58:5	Which¹³ will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely¹⁴.
Ps 58:6	devotes them to God's judgments;
Ps 58:6 •IMPRECATIONS •TEETH	¶ Break their¹⁵ teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young¹⁶ lions, O LORD.
Ps 58:7	¹⁷Let them melt away as waters which run continually: when he bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces.
Ps 58:8 •SNAIL	As a snail¹⁸ which melteth, let every one of them pass¹⁹ away: like the untimely²⁰ birth of a woman, that they may not see the sun.
Ps 58:9 •METEOROLOGY	Before your pots can feel the thorns²¹, he shall take them away as²² with a whirlwind, both living²³, and in his wrath.
Ps 58:10	whereat the righteous shall rejoice.
Ps 58:10	¶ The righteous²⁴ shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash²⁵ his feet in the blood of the wicked.
Ps 58:11 •FUTURE, THE •REWARD-PUNISHMENT	So that a man shall say, Verily there is²⁶ a reward for²⁷ the righteous: verily he²⁸ is a God that judgeth in the earth.
