Ps 66:1 | ¶ To the chief Musician, A Song or Psalm. Make1 a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands2: |
Ps 66:2 | 3Sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious. |
Ps 66:3 | Say unto God, How terrible4 art thou in thy works! through5 the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves6 unto thee. |
Ps 66:4 | 7All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah. |
Ps 66:5 | to observe his great works; |
Ps 66:5 | Come8 and see the works of God: he is terrible9 in his doing toward the children of men. |
Ps 66:6 | He turned10 the sea into dry land: they11 went through the flood on foot: there12 did we rejoice in him. |
Ps 66:7 | He ruleth13 by his power for ever; his eyes14 behold the nations: let15 not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah. |

Ps 66:9 SECURITY-INSECURITY | Which holdeth18 our soul in life, and suffereth19 not our feet to be moved. |
Ps 66:10 BLESSINGS-AFFLICTIONS SILVER | ¶ For thou, O God, hast proved us:20 thou hast tried21 us, as silver is tried. |
Ps 66:11 BLESSINGS-AFFLICTIONS | Thou broughtest22 us into the net; thou laidst affliction upon23 our loins. |
Ps 66:12 | He vows for himself religious service to God. |
Ps 66:12 | Thou hast caused24 men to ride over our heads; we went through25 fire and through water: but thou26 broughtest us out into a wealthy27 place. |
Ps 66:13 | ¶ I will go into28 thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay29 thee my vows, |
Ps 66:14 | Which my lips have uttered30, and my mouth31 hath spoken, when32 I was in trouble. |
Ps 66:15 ANIMALS | I will offer unto thee burnt sacrifices of fatlings33, with the incense of rams; I will offer34 bullocks with goats. Selah. |
Ps 66:16 | He declares God's special goodness to himself. |
Ps 66:16 TESTIMONY, RELIGIOUS | Come35 and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will36 declare what he hath done for my soul. |
Ps 66:17 | I cried37 unto him with my mouth, and he was38 extolled with my tongue. |
Ps 66:18 PRAYER SIN-SAVIOUR | If I regard39 iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me: |
Ps 66:19 | 40But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer. |
Ps 66:20 | ¶41Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me. |
