•POOR AND NEEDY | ¶ A Prayer of David. Bow2 down thine ear, O LORD, hear me: for I am3 poor and needy. |

•MERCIFULNESS-UNMERCIFULNESS | For thou,13 Lord, art good, and ready14 to forgive; and plenteous15 in mercy unto all16 them that call upon thee. |

•SALVATION-CONDEMNATION | 18In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me. |

•MISSIONS, WORLD-WIDE | All21 nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify22 thy name. |

•ONE GOD | ¶ For23 thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God24 alone. |

•WALK OF BELIEVERS | Teach25 me thy way, O LORD; I will26 walk in thy truth: unite27 my heart to fear thy name. |

•HELL | For great31 is thy mercy toward me: and thou32 hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell33. |

•BATTLE OF LIFE | O God34, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies35 of violent36 men have sought after my soul; and have not set thee before them. |

•SYMPATHY-PITILESSNESS | But thou,37 O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy38 and truth. |
| Ps 86:16 | O turn39 unto me, and have mercy upon me; give40 thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son41 of thine handmaid. |

•COMFORT-MISERY | Shew42 me a token for good; that they43 which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because thou,44 LORD, hast holpen me, and comforted me. |
