Ps 47:1	The nations are exhorted cheerfully to entertain the kingdom of Christ.
Ps 47:1 •JOY-SORROW	¶ *To the chief Musician, A Psalm for² the sons of Korah.* O clap³ your hands, all ye people; shout⁴ unto God with the voice of triumph.
Ps 47:2 •MOST HIGH •SOVEREIGNTY OF GOD	For the LORD most high is terrible⁵; he is a great⁶ King over all the earth.
Ps 47:3	He shall subdue⁷ the people under us, and the nations under our feet⁸.
Ps 47:4	He shall choose⁹ our inheritance for us, the excellency¹⁰ of Jacob whom¹¹ he loved. Selah.
Ps 47:5	¶ God¹² is gone up with a shout¹³, the LORD with the sound¹⁴ of a trumpet.
Ps 47:6	Sing praises to God¹⁵, sing praises: sing praises unto our King¹⁶, sing praises.
Ps 47:7	For God is the King¹⁷ of all the earth: sing¹⁸ ye praises with understanding¹⁹.
Ps 47:8	God reigneth²⁰ over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne²¹ of his holiness.
Ps 47:9 •EXALTATION-ABASEMENT	The princes²² of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God²³ of Abraham: for the shields²⁴ of the earth belong unto God: he is²⁵ greatly exalted.
