Ps 64:1
David prays for deliverance, complaining of his enemies.
Ps 64:1

To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. Hear1 my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve2 my life from fear of the enemy.

Ps 64:2
BATTLE OF LIFE

Hide3 me from the secret4 counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection5 of the workers of iniquity:

Ps 64:3
RIGHTEOUS-WICKED

Who whet6 their tongue like a sword, and bend7 their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:

Ps 64:4

That they may shoot8 in secret at the perfect9: suddenly10 do they shoot at him, and fear not.

Ps 64:5

They encourage11 themselves in an evil matter12: they commune of laying snares13 privily; they say, Who14 shall see them?

Ps 64:6
MIND, CARNAL-SPIRITUAL

They search15 out iniquities; they accomplish16 a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.

Ps 64:7
He promises himself to see such an evident destruction of his enemies, as the righteous shall rejoice at it.
Ps 64:7

But God17 shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly18 shall they be wounded19.

Ps 64:8
SELF-JUSTIFICATION-SELF-CONDEMNATION

So they shall make their own tongue20 to fall upon themselves: all that21 see them shall flee away.

Ps 64:9

And all men shall fear22, and shall declare the work of God; for they23 shall wisely consider of his doing.

Ps 64:10
UPRIGHTNESS, REWARD OF

The righteous24 shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright25 in heart shall glory.
