Ps 75:1
The prophet praises God.
Ps 75:1

To the chief Musician, Altaschith, A Psalm2 or Song of Asaph3. Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that4 thy name is near thy wondrous5 works declare.

Ps 75:2
He promises to judge uprightly.
Ps 75:2

When6 I shall receive the congregation7 I will judge uprightly.

Ps 75:3

The earth8 and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear9 up the pillars10 of it. Selah.

Ps 75:4
He rebukes the proud by consideration of God's providence.
Ps 75:4

I said11 unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift12 not up the horn:

Ps 75:5

Lift not up your horn on high: speak13 not with a stiff neck.

Ps 75:6

For promotion cometh14 neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south15.

For in18 the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full19 of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs20 thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.

Ps 75:9
He praises God, and promises to execute justice.
Ps 75:9

But21 I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

Ps 75:10
RIGHTEOUS-WICKED

All the horns22 of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns23 of the righteous shall be exalted.
